| Sommer Ranches is owned and operated by Candy & Steve Sommer for the past 30 years. They previously owned Sommer Vineyards and Alexander Valley Fruit & Trading Company. They have grown grapes for Clos Du Bois, Hop Kiln, Beringer & reserve Zinfandel for Delicato under the Brazin Dry Creek Zin label. Sommer Ranches is available for stays in the vineyard.
The vineyard is located on the benchland overlooking famous Dry Creek Valley. The rocky red soil is ideal for Zinfandel's concentrated fruit. |
